Hi there! I wanted to take an opportunity to reach out and connect with more companies in the Midwest Region and give you a little more information about our commercial refuse containers. We manufacture Ameri-Kan front and rear load containers. Ameri-Kan is a brand of container started in the '70's with the vision to be the best value for your money without gimmicks, or compromises in quality. We wanted to make a container that would outlast the competition by at least a year or two, keeping money in your pocket.
Here’s how Ameri-Kan containers stack up against competitors:
Durability & Build Quality: Ameri-Kan uses all 12ga steel, wrapped corners (no butt welds), interlocked top channels, ribbed bump pads or bump tubes depending on the size. These features provide superior structural integrity compared to many competitors that rely on butt-weld construction. We use a 2-bolt quick change caster pads. If a container has welded on casters, you can't change the caster in the field. With ours, you can. The lids are crowned for water runoff and made from high-grade plastic known for durability and fit.
Design Features: Tapered bodies for easier dumping of wedged or frozen loads, stacking blocks for transport, and additional 10ga runner (3 total) on larger 6 & 8yd front or rear load container for extra support. Our front load containers have a full backer plate under the 7ga no step pocket, and 10ga bottom on the 8 for extra durability. The lid system is set in the container for safety. These features are not always standard in competing brands.
Finish & Longevity: Ameri-Kan applies a two-part metal etch primer/paint system, reducing fading, blotching, or runs in the paint which is often a weak point in lower-cost alternatives.
Pricing will vary between the sizes/style of containers. We manufacture between a 1yd-10yd (801T) in rear loads. On the front load side, we have 2-8yd slants, 6 & 8yd low pro's and 6 & 8yd dock style containers. Whether it be a single container or a truckload, I will personally vet several companies to make sure you are getting the best rate we can offer. If you have your own trucking, we do offer pickup at our indoor loading facility complete with a crane to load.
