IT IS COMPLETELY RUST FREE. Most of the undercarriage is still black undercoat. There is light surface rust on the windshield wiper arms and hood, as shown in the pics. The Arizona sun baked the paint off the hood. The rest of the paint and clear coat looks good for the age.
It is a reliable daily driver as-is, or a great platform for a build. These are very capable 4x4's with limited slip rear diff. High-Low transfer case and auto hubs work as they should. Fuel mileage is 15-17 around town and 18-24 highway depending.
It has a 1-1/4" receiver hitch and I've towed 1400 lbs total weight and that is about all I would want to tow.
It has a huge moon roof but it is sealed shut.
I do not have a key for the door locks. The ignition was apparently changed at some time. The "BRAKE" light comes on and goes off on its own schedule. The "CHECK ENGINE" light came on at 150,000 miles for the 150,000 service and I can't get it turned off.
