From our coop to your incubator, our hatching eggs bring the excitement of new life! Our all-heritage-breed breeding flock is raised sustainably and ethically with plenty of space to roam, premium-quality nutrition, and daily attention to support strong, vigorous offspring. These birds are carefully selected for such traits as vibrancy, robust health, calm temperaments, environmental hardiness/adaptability, and high but balanced egg production, to name a few. For you, this means strong embryos with excellent hatch rates, and later down the line healthy adult birds that thrive and flourish.
Our Flock Gets The Best Of The Best!
- Fed a whole grain/whole vegetable, all natural, non-gmo premium feed. This is NOT your typical big box store brand of feed that only meets the minimum requirements. We feed our birds to nourish them, not just to simply keep them alive.
- Supplemented with nutritious green fodder (sprouted grains), probiotic-rich fermented feed, and fresh fruits and veggies
- Free-ranging for access to fresh forage, seeds, and bugs
Our Hatching Egg Protocols:
- We maintain a closed flock and strict biosecurity practices to protect the health of our birds
- Eggs are collected daily and stored under proper conditions to help maintain their viability, then sold at no more than 3 days old for optimum freshness and hatchability
- Eggs are hand-selected for ideal weight, shape, and texture
- All eggs are candled for imperfections such as atypical air cell placement, hairline fractures, etc.
- We do fertility checks with each batch of hatching eggs we send out (by taking a few extra eggs collected from that same batch to crack open and check yolks for fertilization)
Breeds and Egg Colors Available:
- All of our hens and roosters run together, so our hatching eggs are sold as BACKYARD MIX ONLY. We also sell as “hen’s choice”, which means unless you request specific egg colors, we will give you give you a variety of whatever was most recently laid. Some purebreds may be possible, but most hatches will be fun, colorful surprises with unique crossbreds.
- Our roosters are Speckled Sussex (light brown layer) and Blue Ameraucana (light blue layer)
- Our hens include: Speckled Sussex (light brown layer), Black Australorp (light brown layer), Buff Orpington (light brown layer), Gold Laced Wyandotte (light brown layer), New Hampshire (light brown layer), Olive Egger (dark green layer), Easter Egger (light green layer), Blue Ameraucana (light blue layer), Salmon Faverolle (cream layer), Cuckoo Maran (dark brown layer), and Black Copper Maran (dark brown layer)
- Light brown, dark brown, blue, green, olive, and cream eggs are possible

- Pickup at our place (10ish miles west of the Casper, WY airport), meet somewhere neutral in town, or have us deliver straight to your door!
- Shipping and interstate delivery are not available at this time
- $10 per dozen
- Cash and cards both welcome
