Jackson Hole is proud of our Veterans and their service to our state and nation. We recognize the many sacrifices of our Veterans and their families, and stand ready to serve you as you have served us.
Here in the Jackson Hole Valley, the local Jackson Hole American Legion Post No. 43 has served our Veterans since 1928 in the same log building (listed on National Register of Historic Places in 2003). Your annual membership of $50 connects you with other Veterans who are providing community benefits.
There is known to be over 1,600 veterans living in the Jackson Hole Valley, but due to recent U S Privacy Acts, the Veterans Administration cannot share that contact information with our membership. Consequently, we need to get the word out that we need veteran membership to keep our patriotic duties and activities alive. We only ask that the Veteran join us in membership, and we will return friendship and honored respect.
We have monthly gatherings where members can meet others, network, volunteer, and assist with Honor Guard and community activities.
Veterans, the American Legion Seeks Your Membership and Friendship. Please pass this message on to the Veteran in your family.
Stop in, as Meetings are every third Tuesday of the month." Ask about our new pub kitchen and frequent breakfasts and BBQs.
