12" Dobsonian Telescope with everything you need to view planets, moon, nebulas and galaxies! The planet views through this telescope are spectacular. I think this is my 3rd Dobsonian in 5 years. Selling only because I have unlimited access to a larger telescope. A similar telescope 12" Apertura on the High Point Scientific website is $1299.95. This one has a few minor upgrades - Bob's knobs, light absorbing interior, etc. Include with the telescope: Laser collimator, viewfinder telescope, 2" to 1 1/4" eyepiece adaptor, eyepieces ++> Svbony 26mm 70 FOV, 6-24mm zoom (not working, possible easy fix), 25mm Plossl, 10mm Plossl, 6mm Plossl, moon filter, another misc filter, waterproof foam-packing case, small red flashlight, green laser pointer. These extras are worth at least $250 over the stock telescope. It can use 1 1/4" or 2" eyepieces.

Edited 12/7/2025 to include this eyepiece! I changed the price from $800+$300, to $1000 for both. It is an Explore Scientific 14mm 100 degree FOV nitrogen-purged 2" eyepiece. It has had very little use. This eyepiece is $679.99 at High Point Scientific today. It has higher magnification and a very wide field of view. It is just about the only eyepiece you'd ever need with the 12" Dobsonian telescope.

The base has a little bit of cosmetic water damage and the eyepiece holder has broken off. It is still 100% functional.

I used to leave it under a cover on my south-facing patio. I could roll it out into the yard on clear nights. It can be carried in the back seat of most cars. If you are new to telescopes, I can show you how to set it up and look at stars.
