As the title of this ad states, I'm looking for work. To be clear I'm not a contractor; I'm seeking employment. It'd be nice to find something more long term but at this point I'd be alright with something temporary. To be clear I'm not a contractor; I'm seeking employment.
What kind of work you may be asking? Well generally anything that's legal. I've worked in several different fields to include construction (mainly painting), landscaping (maintenance as well as installation - I have about 30 hours in a front end loader for example), writing (primarily analysis of laws & politics concerning a specific subject, but I've dabbled in everything from property Rights to macroeconomics), driving (I have a cdl but I'm not great with manual transmissions), music (I was a professional guitarist for a long while) & menial labor. I've pushed brooms, picked up trash, & loaded/unloaded trucks so I'm not particularly proud - honest work is honest work even if it's unpleasant.
I do have some mechanical inclination but I've never drawn a paycheck from it. A lot of my experience derives from non-professional endeavors - things I'd do on my own when I had time off. I've done some rough carpentry (tables, book shelves, etc) & have some experience with power tools. I've done leather work (pouches, sheaths, etc), repaired my own vehicles & other smaller mechanical items, and was just beginning to experiment of metal finishing. I've built my own personal computers (assembled hardware & installed operating systems from Microsoft & Linux).
Legalities. Pesky things, but they must be dealt with. For the most part I abide the law, even the trivial ones. The reasoning is simple: I don't have the cash to fight in court. So if it can lead to a fine or worse I'll generally decline the activity.
I don't mind traveling to any part of Wyoming, & I'll consider offers from out of state.
With all that being said if you are hiring for any work that you think I might be able to perform competently send me an email. I do appreciate your time.
