Hello -!

My name is Michael, I live in Jackson, WY. I bring you over 22 months as a professional caretaker, maintenance man, house sitter, pet sitter, and beyond. Lets get to work!

I am looking for almost any house-sitting, pet care, and care-taking opportunities in Jackson/Wilson/etc RIGHT NOW and into the immediate future.

If it is a handy-man live-in situation where I can work at your place on my days off, etc, and no rent (or very little) is involved, then I will happily consider that. Just keep in mind that, if long term, I need an income somehow, so if you are not able to pay, then keep in mind that my hours available are going to be limited. We will make something work!

I have been in Jackson since spring of 2011 when I arrived to work as a ranch hand, sous chef, professional bartender, hiking/photography workshop leader, and fly-fishing guide/instructor at Brooks Lake Lodge @9200 feet up on Togwotee Pass, not far from Jackson...

Where I am open to:

Jackson...preferred-all surrounding areas...
In town and beyond...
Moose is great-
Anywhere along the rivers-and the surrounding
mountains and RANCH locations and opportunities are perfect.

I AM OPEN to almost anything within a 50 mile radius. Will even consider some Victor properties for sure..

I have a Jack-of-many-trades background: 7 + years of construction, tiling, landscaping, remodeling, plumbing, drywalling, plumbing, masonry, concrete work, solar installing and wiring, small engine troubleshooting and repair, lawn and landscape equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc) and much more.

I have also worked 5 seasons as a wild-land firefighter, worked on fishing boats and canneries in Alaska, installed solar panels for a living, and I've worked as a ski instructor, business developer, photographer, landscaper, sous-chef, part-time mechanic, massage therapist, professional bartender, farm worker, and a great deal more.

I am First Aid and CPR certified as well and have been many times over the last 30 years.

I have a good driving record as well and can provide copies of it. I drive a fully insured reliable AWD car as well, for thos ehard to reach mountain properties.

My relevant care-taking and house-sitting experiences are as follows:

* Michael Marez residence, Boulder, CO. August 2010 to February 2011. $3.5 million house on the market for over 4 years, sold in February 2011. General and specialized maintenance, keeping house clean and staged 'perfectly' for real estate showings, accepting and directing weekly vendors such as fish tank cleaner, landscapers, etc. Security presence, snow-shoveling, mail retrieval, plumbing, water feature maintenance, landscaping, all facets of troubleshooting, watering and many other duties.

*Greg Blenkinsop property, Jackson, Wyoming. House manager for a 4 bedroom house. Collected rent. took care of maintenance, cleaning, all other necessary tasks. December 2017-March 2018

*Ken Dubach, 80 acre ranch, Boulder, CO. December 2009 to March 2010. Main responsibilities: Feeding and daily exercising of 2 full sized adult dogs, cleanup, minimal horse upkeep. Any necessary maintenance, snow shoveling, weekly cleaning, mail retrieval, hot tub upkeep, security presence, stocking house with supplies, and beyond.

*Melinda & David Harrison residence: Boulder, CO November 2000-June 2001. House-sitting while owners were in Brazil: minor upkeep, snow shoveling, spring cleaning, weekly interior cleaning, security presence, pest-removal, yard and grounds work as needed.

*Eric & Kathleen Ross residence, Crested Butte, CO. January 1995. Cabin at end of road, walk in only during winter. Pipes no freeze, snow-shoveling, hot tub maintenance, other upkeep as needed.
